Schleich Clydesdale Gelding

Clydesdales are easily recognised by their striking white legs, covered in long, silky hair known as feathering. While they are often seen with a rich brown coat, they can also appear in black, sorrel, or roan colours.

These powerful horses are commonly used as draught animals, helping to haul heavy loads like tree trunks through terrain that tractors can’t reach. Despite their size, Clydesdales are known for being easy to train and eager to learn.

They can also be ridden, though their large build requires specially designed, extra-large saddles.

Fun Fact: Clydesdales are named after the River Clyde in south-west Scotland.
