Returning a Product:
Toyworld understands that the perfect gift in your eyes is not always the perfect gift in the receivers. To ensure the speedy resolution of your return, please refer to the below guide. Please note we do not offer exchanges for online orders.
In-store Returns
Change of Mind Returns – Purchased In Store
At Toyworld, we understand that sometimes you might change your mind about a purchase. However, please be aware that all Toyworld stores are independently owned and operated, meaning that change of mind returns are subject to the specific policies of each individual store.
Each store's returns policy is provided at the time of purchase and may vary from one location to another. Therefore, it is important to review the policy specific to the store where your purchase was made.
If you wish to return an item due to a change of mind, we recommend visiting or contacting the store of original purchase directly. The store will be able to assist you with their specific return process, including whether they offer a store credit, exchange, or refund.
For any enquiries or further assistance regarding your return, please reach out to the store where the original transaction took place. They will be best equipped to guide you through their return process and answer any questions you may have.
Change of Mind Returns in a Different Store Than Original Purchase
As each Toyworld store is independently owned and operated, returns and exchanges for items purchased anywhere other than the original store of purchase should be directed back to the original store of purchase.
This includes both purchases made from the online store and from your local Toyworld.
Online Returns:
Change of Mind Returns for Purchases Made Online
We offer a 14-day return policy for online orders. To be eligible, items must be unused, in original condition, with all packaging intact, and accompanied by proof of purchase.
As each Toyworld store is independently owned and operated, returns must be sent back to the store that fulfilled your order. Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility, and original shipping charges are non-refundable. We do not offer exchanges for online purchases.
Once your return is received and inspected, a refund for the item’s value (excluding shipping) will be issued to your original payment method.
Return Process
- Check the return criteria – Make sure your item is unused, in its original condition, with all packaging intact, and you have proof of purchase.
- Contact our Online Customer Service Team – Email or call us first to start your return. We’ll confirm your eligibility and give you the correct return address.
- Pack it safely – Use secure packaging and include all items, accessories, and paperwork.
- Clearly address the parcel. If items are damaged in transit due to poor packaging, we can’t process your return.
- Send it back – Post your return to the address we provide. Return postage costs are the customer’s responsibility.
Return Criteria
- You return the item within 14 days of purchase
- You provide the corresponding Toyworld packing list or order confirmation from the time of purchase
- The item is in its original packaging, including all accessories and instruction manuals
- The item is in saleable condition ie unworn, unopened, unused and in original condition.
Faulty Items
Toyworld will meet our obligations in accordance with your rights as a customer under the Consumer Guarantees Protection/ACCC for any faulty items. For more information please visit, accc.gov.au/consumers.
Toyworld will accept product returns and provide you with an exchange, credit note, refund or repair where:
- The product is not of acceptable quality in accordance with the Consumer Guarantees Act
- The product is not fit for its intended purpose, or
- The product does not match the sample or our description; and
- You produce your original Toyworld invoice at the time you returned the item
For items ordered through the online store that are faulty, contact our online store Customer Service Team to arrange an exchange or full refund (see above for online store Customer Service Team contact details).
We will refund to your original method of payment.
Wrong or Missing Item in Your Online Order?
We’re incredibly sorry to hear there’s been an issue with your order — our goal is always for you to receive exactly what you purchased. Please reach out to our lovely Online Customer Service Team via our Enquiry Form so we can get things sorted quickly for you.
Missing an Item?
Before contacting us, please check the packing list inside your box — sometimes the rest of your order is sent from another Toyworld store. If that’s the case, don’t worry, there are no extra freight charges. If your item is missing entirely, we’ll investigate and either send the missing product or issue you a refund.
Received the Wrong Item?
If you’ve received the wrong product, contact our Customer Service Team through the Enquiry Form. Any photos or details you can provide will help us resolve the issue quickly. We’ll provide you with a prepaid return label for the incorrect item and arrange for the correct item to be sent or a refund to be issued.
