There are few things more refreshing or soothing than sitting by awaterfall. Someone once told me this is because the cascading waterincreases the oxygen content of the air, making it more invigorating.Whatever the reason, I love waterfalls and can sit for hours mesmerisedby the walls of plummeting water. Waterfalls also prove to me thatpersistence always creates a path. Liffey Falls looks very peaceful here,but it can become a raging torrent. A massive tree trunk which had beenpushed down the river, here rests against the base of the falls. It was laterwashed away by another torrential flow
